he Government of Saint Lucia is extending its partnership with faith-based institutions through a grant of EC$100,000 to the Seventh-day Adventist (SDA) Mission, in recognition of the organization’s long-standing contribution to education.

Education Minister Hon. Shawn Edward confirmed the announcement, noting that the funds will be directed toward improving the learning environments at the SDA Academy and three primary schools operated by the mission.

“This contribution recognizes the sterling role that the Seventh-day Adventist Mission has played in educational development across Saint Lucia,” Edward said. “The grant will enhance the educational experiences for students at all four schools.”

The initiative, according to Minister Edward, is part of a wider government strategy to support education delivery across both public and private sectors, and to acknowledge institutions that have been integral to Saint Lucia’s learning ecosystem.
