Alfred had Dina-Asher Smith for company in the first 50 metres, but the Saint Lucian sprinter powered away in the second half of the race. She could afford to ease down across the line as she won in a meeting record 10.75 to go second on the 2025 list of world bests behind Melissa Jefferson-Wooden's 10.73 at the Philadelphia Grand Slam Track meet.
The previous Stockholm meeting record of 10.90 was set by Irina Privalova back in 1990.
Asher-Smith was second in a season's best 10.93 with Ivorian veteran Marie-Josee Ta Lou-Smith (11.00) in third place.
Alfred told reporters: “After Oslo, I had to have a long chat with my coach, and he went through everything with me for today's race. He reassured me that I am in great shape because I was doubting myself. But I am happy today with how the race went.”
Alfred had claimed the Oslo Diamond League 100m on Thursday (12 June) in 10.89.
