archand, Castries residents are mourning the passing of 29-year-old Denver Felix of Faux a Chaud, whose life was taken by an unknown gunman on the night of June 8, 2025.

Reports indicate that he was shot and killed in the George Charles Boulevard in Marchand, Castries.

One resident, who spoke anonymously with the media, acknowledged Felix’s faults as a person, but said he was often “calm” and would not seek trouble with anyone.

“I wasn't expecting him to die that way. I never saw him do any wrong; I was not there, so I cannot judge him. Because all of us in this earth, we do wrong. And what I noticed about him here, he used to be calm, maybe unless you aggravate him, maybe that's when he will really, you know, quarrel or say something. To me, he was calm,” she explained.

Another resident, who spoke with the media on condition of anonymity, says she felt the weight of Felix’s death, as she too lost her son to gun violence a few years prior.

As a mother, I feel a way because my first son was gunned down too. When I watched him on the ground, I remembered my son. Everything just flashes back,” she said.

Anyone with information is encouraged to contact the nearest police station. Anonymous reporting can be made using toll-free number 555 or by using the RSLPF mobile application.
